Our client is seeking to fill a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst role in the Seattle, WA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Compliance Officer with compliance monitoring reviews and other special projects to measure and understand the state of regulatory compliance for the organization.The position offers a generous salary of up to $75K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)BSA/AML Compliance Analyst responsibilities include:Conducting compliance monitoring of the SP to determine whether compliance is adequate and effectively managed in accordance with bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.Participating in initial due diligence review and validation of the compliance management program and monitors the ongoing effectiveness of compliance risk management.Researching, analyzing, and drawing conclusions related to all federal and state rules and regulations and their applicability to the products, services, and systems.Maintaining a current thorough understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal activities, and developing trends.Implementing assigned regulatory compliance responsibilities and activities associated with the Bank Secrecy Act and Money Laundering initiatives throughout the Bank.Identifying weaknesses in practice and procedure and recommending solutions that increase the level of compliance without unnecessarily burdening the business unit.Filing all required reports and documents with the appropriate federal agency and respond quickly to all lawful requests for information from law enforcement agencies.Providing compliance assistance and information to all departments/functional units within the Bank.Who Are You?

You bring the following skills and experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalentThree or more years in loan compliance or FinTech desirable.General understanding of regulatory compliance and FFIEC requirements is desired.General understanding of the digital payment processing environment.Required to handle multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.Working knowledge of Federal and State Anti-Money Laundering compliance statutes and regulations.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.The next step is yours.
