The Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, CO and HealthONE Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Psychiatry Program Director.Qualified Candidates:Board certified by the ABPN or AOBNPMinimum of three years post-residency participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency programAPD or PD experience a plusExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong team building skillsCandidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer-reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educational organizations are highly encouraged to applyResponsibilities:Participate in recruitment and selection of residents and faculty50% administrative, 50% clinical workloadIncentive/Benefits Package:Competitive salary driven by MGMA data and industry benchmarkingPaid time off paired with allocated dollars and days toward CMERelocation and signing incentives offered in most circumstancesFull-time position with protected non-clinical administrative time of 20 hours per weekAbout HealthONE Behavioral Health Services and The Medical Center of Aurora:Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is part of HealthONE, the local brand for HCA Healthcare’s six hospitals in the Denver, Colorado market. The facility includes a 40-bed adult unit, 40-bed senior adult unit, 20-bed women's unit, and a 20-bed child & adolescent unit (age 8 and up) along with Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) for all three populations. The program is treatment-enriched with multiple master-disciplined therapeutic staff.
