Duties and Responsibilities Loyola University Health System and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time clinical practice interventional gastroenterologist to join our nationally ranked Digestive Health program. The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in general gastroenterology and the ability to perform minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders. The ideal candidate must be able to perform interventional endoscopies including, but not limited to, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and other advanced therapeutic procedures. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at the time of appointment. The candidate must have a commitment to teaching and mentoring as well as academic productivity. The preferred candidate will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The three-hospital system includes Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, MacNeal Hospital, as well as convenient locations offering primary care, specialty care, and immediate care services from more than 1,500 physicians throughout Cook, Will, and DuPage counties.
