POSITION SUMMARY
Our firm is currently assisting a CPA Firm in West LA area to identify an expert in the preparation of trusts, estate, gift tax returns and trust accounting for a Trust & Estates/Fiduciary Tax Senior Manager position.
The Trust & Estates Tax Senior Manager will assume full responsibility for directing multiple engagements; review estate fiduciary income tax returns, along with the decedent's final individual tax return; review trust fiduciary income tax returns and individual income tax returns; analyze estate planning documents including wills, codicils and trust instruments to determine the proper treatment of assets and liabilities for tax purposes; develop postmortem tax-saving strategies for the estate accounts; and provide oversight and direction to a team of tax specialists in the delivery of tax services.
Qualifications
CPA certificationRecent Public Accounting experienceExpert knowledge in the preparation of trusts, estate, gift tax returns and trust accountingMinimum of five years’ experience in the preparation and review of fiduciary income tax returns. Seven years or more preferredExperience with Partnerships and S Corporations preferredPrior client management experience
