Senior Immigration Attorney

Reporting to the Managing Immigration Attorney, the candidate will manage a caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with the Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants. The role requires expertise in immigration law, strategic thinking, and strong client communication skills.Duties:Explain immigration concepts and provide strategic solutions to clients.Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.Manage a workload of diverse immigration cases.Visit and conduct intakes with detained individuals at centers.Prepare various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as necessary.Present to and collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.Conduct strategic immigration consultations with potential clients and determine necessary strategies.Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.Provide legal analysis for clients to determine potential case benefits.Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases.Requirements:5-8 years of Immigration Law Experience.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Record of moving legal cases forward and managing a caseload.Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.Education:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar admission.Skills:Strong understanding of immigration law and procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of organization and attention to detail.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Benefits Offered:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Competitive compensation package including a 401(k) plan.Catered lunches.Complimentary parking.Paid time off.
