If this sounds like an environment where you'd thrive, read on to learn more.WHAT YOU'LL DOThe Product Analyst role is required to provide support to Product Managers with product, operational, and financial data collection, market analysis, and competitive reporting. The role is critical to conducting targeted market research and analysis to drive better customer-centric decision making related to Ascend’s products.WHERE YOU’LL WORKRemote position, potential office travel to Leawood, KS or Burlington, MAHOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIMECustomer Knowledge and Product Efficacy:

Gather and analyze market data to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform new product and feature decisions; report to Product Manager and other team members, as needed.Support Product Managers with identifying and documenting product business requirements in alignment with market and customer needs.Collect and analyze user feedback through surveys, user testing and other feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement and suggest product modifications.At the direction of the Product Manager, monitor key product metrics, including product adoption, efficacy, and customer satisfaction, to assess post-launch product performance against goals and benchmarks to help inform roadmap needs.

Product Pricing & Positioning:

Provide analysis/reports to Product Managers for informed decision making on product pricing and market positioning.Product Launch Planning/Execution:

Assist in the planning and execution of product launches and updates and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new features or enhancements.Provide actionable insights and recommendations:

through market and customer research to inform new product and feature decisions to the Business Product Manager.WHAT YOU'LL NEEDBachelor's degree in related fields such as Business Administration, Business Analytics, Product Management, or other areas is required.Minimum 3 years of experience in a combination of product management, business management, finance, consulting, or other relevant fields.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including SQL, statistical analysis software, and data visualization tools, is preferred for effective market research and analysis.Demonstrated market research skills are required, utilizing industry-leading tools and methods to gather and analyze customer, competitor, and industry data, as well as the ability to analyze market data to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive industry landscape.Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and utilizing user feedback and adoption metrics to inform product iterations, improve product performance, efficacy, and user experience, and identify areas for product improvement.Ability to create and maintain data models to support the analysis of complex data sets.Strong business acumen is essential to monitor current market conditions and changes, with the ability to align product goals and research with overall business objectives and recommend solutions to address market challenges.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively present findings, recommendations, and align with stakeholders on product and market strategies.BENEFITSFlexible and generous paid time offCompetitive medical, dental, vision and life insurance401(k) employer matching programParental leaveWellness resourcesCharitable matching programOn-site workout facilities (Leawood, Gilbert, Burlington)Community outreach groupsFostering A Sense of BelongingWe seek out and celebrate all people and perspectives and cultivate an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive, feel valued and be their authentic selves.
