IT Manager

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.We are looking for an IT Manager who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s IT infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation and security of our robot network systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of both traditional IT systems and cutting-edge robotic technologies.Responsibilities:Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the company's IT systems, including servers, networks, and softwareEnsure the reliability and security of the IT infrastructureDevelop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organizationManage IT budgets, forecasts, and hardware/software procurementProvide technical support and guidance to staffManage and optimize the network systems that connect and control the company's robotsMonitor the performance of robotic systems and troubleshoot issues as they ariseEnsure the security and integrity of data transferred between robots and the central systemCollaborate with various departments to understand their IT needs and implement solutionsImplement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and robotic systemsConduct regular security audits and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience in IT managementStrong knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and cybersecurityExperience with robotic systems and IoT (Internet of Things) technologyExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issuesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesBonus Qualifications:Certification in IT management (e.g., PMP, ITIL)Experience with automation and AI technologiesFamiliarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
