We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced GAIT Network Engineer Lead.Role OverviewThe GAIT Network Engineer Lead will be responsible for overseeing the mission planning, implementation, engineering, maintenance, and troubleshooting as required to support users requiring GAIT services. The Network Engineer Shift Lead must be knowledgeable in the tactical, worldwide global network from a planning, implementation, and troubleshooting perspective. The Network Engineer Shift Lead must also be able to effectively manage and lead a team of Network Engineers.General SkillsetExperience with Microsoft OfficeVerbal and written communication skillsAbility to work both collaboratively and individuallyCritical Thinking SkillsCustomer Service SkillsAbility to give presentations and briefingsAn in-depth knowledge of IP networking and processesLeadership and management skillsSpecific SkillsetEfficiently manage a shift of 4-8 individualsKnowledge of the PM Tactical Network (formerly PM WIN-T) architecture along with emerging technologiesAbility to identify with all variations of the WIN-T network, configuration, and the implementation processes and procedures associated with eachAbility to assess network outage or degradation remediation in a quick and resourceful mannerUnderstand Raydyne FDMA, and NCW modem operationsSetup, troubleshoot, and understand Linkway NCC operationsHave a working knowledge of the following topics:Voice: Build call managers, Create route patterns, Setup and operate the REDCOM, Setup and operate the Voice Gateway Routers (VGR)Routing: Understand call setup and call traffic flow, Load routers/switches IOS (CCNA R&S), Load configurations on router/switches, Setup, troubleshoot, and understand BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, Multicast, switch technologies, WAN accelerators, PBR, WCCP, MPLS Layer 3 VPN, MPLS Layer 2 VPN, various SP technologies (e.g., MVPN, LDP, MP-BGP)Information Assurance (IA): Load IOSs on Cisco firewalls/IPSs, Setup, troubleshoot, and configure Cisco firewall/IPS configurations, Understand routing and traffic flows in the RHNs, and downrange assets, Setup, troubleshoot, and configure Cisco Security Manager (CSM), Setup, troubleshoot, and configure Palo Alto virtual firewalls and Panorama firewall management toolCommunications Security: Set up and operate KG-175A and KG-175D model TACLANEs and/or similar encryption devices, Set up and operate KIV-7MNetOps: Setup, troubleshoot, and understand VMware vSphere 6.0 (VMware VCP-DCV), various NetOps applications such as SNMPc, Solarwinds ORION, Radius, and TACACS (Cisco ISE)RequirementsEducation & Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldExperience Requirements:
