· Assess the benefits and the risks of information planned to be used in key initiatives to help steer the project teams in the right direction.

· Develop, maintain, and provide the organization with a future-state view of the information landscape that is unencumbered by the specific data implementation details imposed by proprietary solutions or technologies.

· Work with the Chief Data Officer to implement a formal data governance strategy suggesting who can take what actions, with what information, and under what circumstances. Own a data governance tracking tool for the enterprise.

· Explore the impact of business strategy changes on information management practices. Investigate ways to extract additional value from existing information assets.

· Develop and maintain the enterprise data blueprint. Assist in prioritizing key projects and developing a roadmap based upon a current vs future state of the data blueprint.

· Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

· Champion efforts to improve business performance through enterprise information solutions and capabilities, such as master data management (MDM), metadata management, analytics, content management, data integration, and related information management or information infrastructure components.

· Contribute to the information design ensuring the efficient flow of accurate and standardized data from the source of record to the end-user.

· Implement Data Architecture standards, information architecture principles, standards, strategies, and policies for projects.

· Participate in the development and implementation of master data management (MDM) plans.

· Deliver Architecture Execution Framework prescribed service level conceptual and logical information models that define how the functional requirements will be technically enabled. Act as an Information subject matter expert.

· Own the functional architecture of the Corporate Data Repository by addressing the data analysis needs across various teams.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience).Three or more years of experience within the investment/asset management industry.A minimum of ten years of experience in IT, with at least four years in information system design.Experienced in data analytics tools such as SQL and Python.Experience in rolling out Data Quality programs by outlining policies, roles and responsibilities, and data quality tracking and reporting capabilities.Demonstrated experience in "Thinking Big and starting small" to solve complex issues is required.Minimum of 2 years of exposure using AWS. A solid conceptual understanding of common AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, Quicksight, AWS Glue, etc. is required.Experience with MDM, BI, and enterprise data repository design patterns and implementation techniques.Experience in implementing a metadata tool will be a plus.Business domain, data/content, and process understanding (which are more important than technical skills).Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, and programming techniques.Familiar with Machine Learning techniques and data modeling.Ability to assess rapidly changing technologies and apply them to business needs.Strong communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to create messaging materials that meet stakeholder preferences.Ability to analyze a project, program, and portfolio needs, as well as to determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers.Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and be respected as a leader.Be an excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple technical and business stakeholders and leaders.
