1Position Summary:The Vice President, Operations partners with the Chief Operating Officer/Senior Vice President in developing strategic, operating, and financial plans to accomplish UCI Health's mission. The incumbent provides leadership to the Orange Medical Center, oversight of the activation of the Irvine Medical Center, and direct supervision for specified health system departments. Key responsibilities include partnering with physician, nursing, operational, and administrative leaders to achieve strategic, programmatic, and operational goals. Works closely with Senior Leadership throughout the health system to ensure that the Medical Center functions in a financially successful manner and delivers UCI Health's mission. The incumbent is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Orange Medical Center, ensuring throughput, patient experience, and financial metrics/goals are met and sustained.
