On a "typical" day, our engineers may dive deep to find the root cause of a customer issue, investigate why a metric is trending in the wrong direction, or discuss radical new approaches to automate operational processes. As a member of our team you will join a dedicated group of engineers who provide automation and scripting support, and innovate to automate operational tasks.About the team

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience3+ years of full stack development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languageExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations2+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix systemsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceExperience building high-volume, highly available systems and operating 24x7 servicesExperience with building dynamic web applications and the APIs that power them (JavaScript/Redux, React, NodeJs, and/or Angular)Experience with relational and NoSQL databasesExperience with Agile methods and processesExperience with distributed systems, consistent hashing, distributed locking, replication, and load balancing.Advanced knowledge of configuration management systems, such as: Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems2+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix systemsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
