A law firm in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a General Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate must be licensed in California and have over 1 year of experience in general liability, construction law, and/or business litigation. The role requires strong writing ability, exemplary research skills, and a willingness to learn. Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school and active Bar admission in the State of California are essential.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation in general liability, construction law, and business litigation cases.Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents for various litigation matters.Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.Participate in discovery processes and respond to discovery requests.Engage in motion practice and represent clients in court proceedings.Maintain a client-focused approach and ensure exceptional client service.Continuously learn and adapt to new legal challenges.Requirements:Active Bar admission in the State of California.Over 1 year of legal experience in general liability, construction law, and/or business litigation.Strong writing ability.Exemplary research skills.Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving legal practices.Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar admission in the State of California.Skills:Strong attention to detail.Exceptional time management and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.Effective oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in drafting complex legal documents.In-depth knowledge of general liability, construction law, and business litigation.Advocacy and negotiation skills.Dedication to providing excellent legal services and ensuring client satisfaction.
