The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Colorado College invites applications for two one-year Chemistry/Biochemistry PhD visiting assistant professor positions starting in August 2024. These nine-month positions are renewable for a second year dependent on department needs and a favorable performance review. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting. We seek visiting faculty who can teach introductory courses to a diverse community of students. The primary teaching responsibilities for these positions are General Chemistry I & II (CH 107, CH 108) and/or Organic Chemistry I & II (CH 250, CH 251).Colorado College is a nationally recognized, residential liberal arts college with about 2,000 students.
