Director of Youth Ministry and Community Faith Formation
Fourth Presbyterian Church is a dynamic, warm, open-hearted community of faith located in the heart of Greenville, SC. We are seeking a full-time Director of Youth and Community Faith Formation (Director) to lead us into a new expression of God’s work at Fourth. While this position centers on youth ministry, we are sensing God’s call to deepen the relationship between our students and all areas of church life including worship, mission, fellowship, and education.The Director is called to partner with the congregation to:Provide for the spiritual nurture of our youth and congregation.Lead, love, teach, inspire, and encourage the youth as they engage in lives of active discipleship, and invite the rest of the congregation to join in that work.Engage in the worship, discipleship, and witness of the congregation.Identify and coordinate intergenerational faith formation opportunities in partnership with other staff and church committees.The church is open to this position being full time or part time, anticipating at least 30 hours/week if part time, in order to find the best fit for Fourth.
