Description:Seeking leading edge talent who can help design and drive technical roadmap and vision in the Cloud. This is an opportunity to drive the next enterprise evolution in the cloud on a global scale--never seen in the commercial domain. Forming an engineering team to accomplish those goals.

Candidates should be experts with a combination of coding & design skills, and executive level communication skills to significantly enhance the organizational and architectural capacity and effectiveness of a global team of developers. Seeking technical experts with deep production experience in developing large-scale complex services spanning multiple APIs that scale to tens of millions of users. You'll have the support and productivity that come from leading a significant team of developers, partnering with product management to deliver against a clear product vision.RESPONSIBILITIES:Working within a highly successful product organization, you will:

1) Lead the architecture and design of the core Cloud offering, both leveraging and defining dozens of significant SOA and REST APIs across Cloud services. This will require clear understanding of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS based services and how to use layering to achieve an optimal architecture stack.2) Develop designs geared towards massive scalability, and code the core elements of those designs to make adoption faster. Code contributions range from writing new major features, providing bug fixes and writing unit, functional tests to improve the quality of the service.3) Drive developers and engineering managers to adopt architectural changes in persistence, security, and UI; coach engineers to overturn assumptions and think big.4) Provide team leadership within your own team of architects and engineers to define and gain adoption of clean, well-designed contracts and best practices across the entire Oracle Cloud, and share those with partners, internal stakeholders and customers.5) Apply your deep understanding of enterprise cloud vendors like Amazon, Azure, and Salesforce effectively. You are able to connect the dots and critique what the competition is doing in order to leapfrog Company Cloud offerings.6) Transform and leverage company's expertise in Middleware, Database, and Applications into leading enterprise Cloud services.
