ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis and modeling;Water resources systems analysis;Water supply planning;Spatial analysis and database management;Numerical modeling;Literature review and synthesis;Helping broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences;Technical document preparation, including technical writing and creation of exhibits and maps;Watershed planning, stormwater management, and TMDL implementation.Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.)EDUCATION AND LICENSUREBachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, natural resources science or closely related field with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline. (required)Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering, natural resources science, or closely related field with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline. (preferred)Professional Engineer license. (preferred)SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSAt least 5 years of research or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)Hydraulic and hydrologic analysis and modeling. (required)Water resources systems analysis. (required)Water supply planning. (preferred)Experience with programming such as Python, R, or ability to learn to use other coding platforms. (required)Experience with modeling and design software tools such as EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS. (preferred)Experience or interest in groundwater modeling. (preferred)Experience or interest in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). (preferred)Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
