Additionally, the role involves collaborating with legal assistants, paralegals, and the supervising attorney, staying current on immigration law developments, conducting research, contributing to marketing initiatives, participating in training sessions, and monitoring case activity and new case initiations.Duties:Review and file non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications with government agencies and consulatesCollaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and supervising attorney for assigned casesStay current on business immigration law developmentsConduct research and draft alerts, publications, and blog postsContribute to marketing initiatives, as neededParticipate in training sessions and other firm and section related activitiesRegularly review client-facing and internal reports to monitor case activity and new case initiationsRequirements:Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmitted or eligible for admission in CA, DC, MA, or NY2+ years of experience in business immigration law and/or immigration clerkshipExperience reviewing reports and monitoring data compliance in immigration-focused databaseDocket and time management skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate and work effectively in team settingsAbility to stay organized and exercise attention to detailEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree from an ABA-accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the State Bar in CA, DC, MA, or NYSkills:Docket and time management skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate and work effectively in team settingsAbility to stay organized and exercise attention to detail
