The Employee Relations Partner, Senior is responsible for the development and administration of the employee relations program. This includes gathering, collecting, and maintaining documents and records required for policy development, investigations, and employee advocacy. This position interfaces with employees, government agencies, and internal/external legal counsel.Essential Responsibilities:Design, plan, and partner with business leaders to implement company-wide employee relations initiatives to promote positive employee relations, engagement, and overall job satisfaction.Handle complex human resource inquiries related to policies and procedures.Serve as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.Ensure timely processing and review of complaints by coordinating, monitoring, and streamlining complaint procedures.Pursuant to established documentation procedures, record discriminatory factors and corrective actions identified through investigations of employment practices or alleged violations.Conduct investigations and resolve complaints for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns.Assist with recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion particularly as related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and diversity initiatives.Conduct surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, and compensation; collect information and report results to People & Culture Director.Conduct exit interviews, summarize findings, and discuss trends and concerns with senior management.Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources.Ability to organize plans and to write policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, and employee handbooks.Maintain an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company's standards.Organizational Responsibilities:Perform work in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.Support the organization's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion by fostering a culture of open-mindedness, cultural awareness, compassion, and respect for all individuals.Strive to meet annual business goals in support of the organization's strategic goals.Adhere to the organization's policies, procedures, and other relevant compliance needs.Perform other duties as needed.Experience and/or Education:Required:Minimum 5 years' experience in Human Resource administration.Minimum 3 years' experience in Employee Relations. Previous positions in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist preferred.Preferred:SHRM Senior Certification.
