Effective Jan 1, 2024, employees are expected to work at their assigned office a minimum of two days per week. In the event that this is not geographically reasonable, you may work in the office closest to your home. Additionally, we expect employees to participate in required firm events/meetings (e.g., trainings, team bonding, client meetings, etc.)As a Staff in our Tax service line, you will be responsible for the following:

Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts and its related income tax work papersPrepare and respond to correspondences from taxing authoritiesIdentify accounting and income tax issues and propose strategies to resolve themPerform tax technical research as neededPerform self-review of workLearn and effectively utilize firm tax software to continually learn, knowledge sharing, and enhance the quality of service to clientsWork closely with a team and communicate job status with all levels of the engagement teamComplete assigned projects within engagement timeline and budget guidelinesDevelop strong relationships with firm professionals at all levelsParticipate in firm trainings, recruiting events, and firm activitiesWork with your buddy and performance manager on professional development of both technical and soft skillsTo be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need:

On track to completing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a master’s degree in accounting between December 2024 – June 2025.Minimum overall and accounting GPAs of 3.0Active membership in Beta Alpha Psi or another accounting campus organizationStrong technical aptitude and evidence of effective verbal and written communication skillsExhibit leadership skills that demonstrate strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAble to learn in a fast-paced environment and receptive to feedback and coachingAbility to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative on projectsCan work independently and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environmentHigh attention to detailA positive attitude and a team player mentality with a can-do spiritIs client-centric and willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlinesHow to Apply:
