Description:Our Senior Android Developers are expected to solve complex engineering problems quickly and smartly. They contribute their ideas at various stages of the project, including having a strong voice in application architecture, investigating solutions, and finding ways to innovate.
We work hard to create a culture of collaboration amongst the various project team disciplines and with our clients and vendors. Great communication skills and a thoughtful, rigorous production approach are a MUST. Our projects exist within an ecosystem of applications and services. Sr. Android developers must use a holistic approach to technical solutions planning.Responsibilities:
Develop robust Android applications as part of a team using Android Studio.Work with designers to ensure the designed interfaces are implemented correctly.Ensure we comply with best practices for user interface development, including accessibility and internationalization/localization.Develop within an Agile workflow.Use the team's predefined coding standards and practices.Continue to learn and develop as a software engineer.Requirements:
4 years of professional experience.Kotlin experience is beneficial.Released an app to the Google Play store.Worked within a defined and disciplined release cycle.Used version control software, preferably GitHub.Familiar with automation testing, build, and continuous integration using Maven or Gradle.Experience with REST APIs and JSON.Strong familiarity with reactive programming, particularly RxJava.Working knowledge of Walmart proprietary systems and architecture.Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.To apply for this position please submit an MS Word doc of your resume and put in the subject "Job ID # 1948".
