WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Senior Manager of Business Development will help build the company's market position by assisting the Business Development team with the quoting and proposal process for new projects and potential clients. Primary responsibilities include outreach and relationship-development with new and existing clients, building full proposals for client projects, brainstorming event and project concepts and coordinating graphic design with the creative team, and overseeing the creation and updating of sales materials and capabilities database.

The role reports directly to and supports the VP of Business Development based just outside of Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:Develop in-depth knowledge and ability to promote our capabilities and services including fabrication, signage and branding, and live event productionCreate proposals including design and layout, pricing, concepting, and detailed descriptions of our services and capabilitiesIdentify and utilize sales and marketing tools that lead to improved market exposureProvide budget estimates based on client specifications and event production needsPartner with event execution teams on budget and project details to ensure client expectations are met.Lead research on materials, innovations, build methods, rental options, and other industry trendsIdentify and develop existing and prospective clientsProduce detailed quotes of potential projects through vendors and our in-house teamsIdentify complex problems and implement solutions in a time sensitive mannerOther duties as assignedTHE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing or relevant field5 years of business development or marketing experience including client pitches and service proposals3 years of experience in live event production and/or event brandingExperience working with visual designers including graphic design and 3D render artistsSkilled in creative concepting and end-to-end presentation buildingAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)Excellent time management skills and ability to estimate project completion timelinesDemonstrated customer service skills. Understanding client needs and will go above and beyond to exceed expectationsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to provide budget estimations, and advise clients on options based on their proposed budgetStrong organization and project management skills and ability to continuously manage multiple large projects at any given timeAbility to learn new skills and knowledge base as business and clients necessitatesExperience in Adobe Creative Suite and working with print vendors and/or branding applications is a plus
