Litigation Attorney

The litigation attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, such as trials, hearings, and arbitrations. You will specialize in handling cases that involve disputes between individuals, businesses, or government entities.Key responsibilities:Conducting legal research to analyze the laws and regulations applicable to a caseDrafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memorandaRepresenting clients in court proceedings, including presenting arguments, examining witnesses, and cross-examining opposing witnessesNegotiating settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clientsIssuing legal opinions and providing advice to clients on their legal rights and optionsManaging and overseeing the discovery process, which involves gathering evidence and conducting depositionsQualifications:PA and NJ bars required; NY bar a plus.5+ years of experienceCompensation:$130-170k depending on experienceBonusFull benefitsTo apply, please send your resume to cm@libertyjobs.com
