Do you want to be part of a team that is shaping a brighter future for our community?These last two years have been difficult, and residential programs faced many challenges due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.With great gratitude for what our staff have accomplished over these difficult times, we are ready to move forward, with creativity, collaboration, and a cohesive team.Are you ready, too?As a Residential Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop the independent living skills and emotional regulation skills that are integral to accomplishing their identified treatment goals.Not only does this role involve building strong connections and meaningful relationships, it also gives our staff the opportunity to bring their interests and talents to work! Do you like gardening? Great! Enjoy playing guitar? Bring it to your shift!To be successful in this role, you will have:A high school diploma or GED or preferably, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or another human services fieldExperience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse challengesA valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportationA positive attitude of compassion, respect, and ability to set mutual boundaries.Join a team that makes a difference every day and a company that has been named one of Vermont's Best Places to Work for two years in a row!
