Our greatest strength is our shared commitment to support strong families which create thriving children and communities.The Lead Teacher plans, prepares, and implements developmentally appropriate child-initiated and teacher-directed activities using Early Head Start and Creative Curriculum to enhance the physical, emotional, and cognitive growth of children through play and hands-on experiences. The Lead Teacher provides a learning environment that is safe and inclusive for all students, conducts developmental screenings, weekly child observations and regular assessments, actively supervises the safety and wellbeing of children in both classroom and outdoor settings, maintains student portfolios, and conducts parent teacher conferences. The Lead Teacher also directly supervises Teacher Assistants in the classroom.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood EducationThree years' Lead Teacher experience or five years early childhood teaching experience preferred.Knowledge of Creative Curriculum Preschool Edition, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and Child Plus is preferred.Job Details:

Compensation:

Range starts at $44,000; offers are commensurate with experience.Benefits:
