Openings : 1Post Date : Feb. 29, 2024A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Lisa Cavacini in the Division of Innate Immunity, Department of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. Our laboratory conducts discovery and pre-clinical development of biologics to prevent or treat disease, including infectious diseases (viral and bacterial) and immunoregulatory conditions. This project provides an excellent opportunity to learn and further develop a variety of techniques, including using several antibody discovery platforms, from phage and yeast display to nanobody development and protein purifications/modifications. The selected candidate will work independently to design and execute experiments, with results presented at seminars and scientific meetings, which may involve travel. The post-doctoral fellow will also prepare and submit manuscripts.Qualifications:

Candidates must have a recent Ph.D. in the biological sciences with experience in molecular biology, including vector design. Experience with next-generation sequencing is preferred but not required. Excellent analytical skills and independent judgment; highly collegial and works well as a team member; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with precision and tact; meticulous record keeping.To Apply:
