Comprehensive benefit package including Defined Pension, 401(k) match, Health insurance, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Annual Leave, Wellness Program (including fitness reimbursements), Tuition Reimbursements, and Flexible Work Schedule.Responsibilities:Interpret and communicate permit conditions and compliance requirements to affected stakeholders.Provide expertise and guidance to assist facilities in maintaining environmental compliance.Interface with regulatory agencies and GVEA staff to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including air quality, water quality, and waste management.Ensure GVEA meets and exceeds regulatory compliance, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Science field required.Valid Alaska driver's license is required.Six years of environmental or relevant experience.Make A DifferenceAt GVEA, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe.
