First Legal Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a First Legal Attorney to oversee the initiation and management of legal actions, primarily focusing on foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections matters. The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor degree, membership in the New Jersey Bar, and a keen eye for detail.Job Duties:Complete a comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to the filing of the action, including a review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters.Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions.Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations.Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable.Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.Analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations.Maintain meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail.Work independently to manage caseload effectively.Requirements:Bar membership in New Jersey.Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate effectively through both verbal and written electronic correspondence.Preferred:Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control.Location: Fairfield, NJ
