The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods, we provide financial support to assist men and women with various social and spiritual afflictions. The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities, providing each individual with a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. Our efforts are focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than just a job, each team member contributes to recycling goods that repair broken lives.The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to assist in creating and sustaining a pleasant work environment and excellent customer relationships.Responsibilities:Assist the management team in meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals to maintain a profitable operation.Schedule store personnel and complete payroll information for all staff.Receive applications and participate in interviews as requested.Train, direct, and supervise new employees.Ensure store personnel comply with all policies, procedures, and government regulations.Complete and forward sales reports and other required paperwork to the finance office daily.Ensure the store is well stocked.Act as backup for the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager as needed.Support the work therapy program by providing beneficiaries with an example of professional conduct and work habits.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience in sales.Able to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.Valid driver's license.Excellent communication, customer service, and supervisory skills.
