The Regional Vice President, MarketPoint will lead the East Region of the Field Sales team, reporting to the VP of MarketPoint Field Sales. The role's leadership scope encompasses both Career and Partner Field (FMO/broker) sales. This key leader position provides strategic leadership, value-based guidance, sets operational direction and performance expectations for both leaders and associates in Humana's sales operational areas including Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans, Medicare Supplement, Medicaid Managed Care Plans and Individual Major Medical insurance plans.

The Regional Vice President, MarketPoint will have the demonstrated ability to lead an organization of 725 associates and achieve results across a highly-matrixed, cross-functional distribution organization and Humana's Medicare operations. Extensive experience with multichannel sales distribution is required. This leader will play a key role in strategic planning, product design, resource allocation, and change leadership to inspire a regional sales organization to outperform in an ever-changing and complex field sales environment.

The RVP for the East Region will have the opportunity to shape the sales leadership team with the intent to attain stronger accountability and focus on driving member growth and retention that meets or exceeds membership targets, retention, and cost of sale. This leader will collaborate closely with the MarketPoint RVPs of the West and Florida regions, local market leadership, local and national partner leadership, Sales Integrity, Product and Marketing Leadership, Medicare Sales Strategy team and Corporate Strategy.

Responsibilities

Lead and transform the East Region Field Sales Channel in partnership with other Regional Sales Leaders in an established and complex Fortune 40 company, delivering or exceeding key sales and retention goals year-over-year.Responsible for leading region sales strategy and transformation to drive membership growth, member retention, and cost per sale across the Career & Partner Field channels.Create and foster collaborative relationships with senior and executive leaders, field operations, and value-based partners in support of an omni-channel learn, shop, choose experience.Take responsibility for and deliver outcomes.Develop a talent-focused strategy to attract & develop high-quality Career agents with world-class associate engagement.Engage and build relationships with key Partner agencies in order to identify and capitalize on market opportunities to grow Humana's membership.Be an inspirational leader who engages and motivates agents and partners to meet or exceed targets.Continuously recognize and act on opportunities to gain efficiencies and drive towards organization efficiencies as needed.

Required Qualifications

8 years of field sales and operations experience.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field.Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses, or willing to obtain.Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.Adept at developing and leading high-performing sales teams to support continuous growth and retention.Demonstrated commitment to cultivating collaborative relationships (internally/externally) while leading and inspiring a team to achieve or exceed agreed-upon results.Proven ability to develop strategy, set and meet established targets and effectively manage programs.Experience working with and supporting senior leadership to achieve strategic goals across the segment or enterprise-wide.Critical thinking skills to connect disparate dots and overcome ambiguity.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use language that is succinct and clear, and when appropriate, strengthens sales positioning and emphasizes customer value.Partner with internal teams and regional sales leaders to help drive innovation, be a thought leader and partner for sales enabling technology.Be a culture leader.

Preferred Qualifications

Broad understanding of the Medicare sales landscape, competitive environment along with current and future industry challenges.Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Additional Information

This position is remote. However, preference will be given to those who reside in Central or Eastern time zone and have easy access to a major airport.
