Redaction Specialist.

Starting salary at $21.41 per hour.Minimum Requirements:Must be able to type 30 correct wpm.Minimum Wonderlic score of 18.Minimum OPAC score of 80%.Position Responsibilities:Operate necessary software for video editing.Computer edits video segments on a variety of formats.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Must be able to work flexible shifts including on call.Must be able to handle many variables including meeting short deadlines and responding quickly to breaking crime-related news.Ability to interpret and apply division policies, procedures, rules, and state statutes related to public records law.Ability to apply public records laws to media and document redaction.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Responsible for most public records requests for body camera footage.Knowledge of video editing.Knowledge of and experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.Ability to work independently.Technical knowledge.Knowledge of public records law.Knowledge of guidelines to effectively deal with the release or non-release of information on requests.Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.Record maintenance skills.Knowledge of computerized editing applications and procedures.Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.NOTE: Complete job description available by request.The Collier County Sheriff's Office provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
