Job Description - Assistant Professor - Nephrology (23000001BF)The University of Tennessee HSC, Department of Medicine, is seeking full-time faculty members for its Nephrology Division. This is a non-tenured track position.The division's clinical, educational, and research activities are performed at University Clinical Health and adjacent educational institutions of the UTHSC- College of Medicine.The qualified individual will participate in inpatient and outpatient fellowship training and is expected to develop clinical and/or basic science investigation.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified individuals must have an MD degree, be eligible for Tennessee Licensure, and be board certified in Nephrology.DEPARTMENT PREFERENCES:
This position will be 90% of patient care with training Nephrology fellows, and 10% of teaching & research.Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.Job
