Location: Cumberland, Rhode IslandWe are seeking individuals with experience in all aspects of construction safety to perform safety audits, training, and risk evaluation. Experience with industrial hygiene, including familiarity with personal exposure sampling techniques, is required. This position will be based out of our Plainville, CT; Cumberland, RI; and Worcester, MA (Manafort-Precision, LLC) offices. The successful candidate may be required to work third shift.Minimum Requirements
Safety Technician:
Four-year degree in Safety and Health or equivalent with less than one (1) year of safety experience, or a two-year degree in Safety and Health or equivalent with less than three (3) years of safety experience, or less than five (5) years of experience in building construction, with a working knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.Safety Manager:
Four-year degree in Safety and Health or equivalent with at least three (3) years of safety experience, or more than five (5) years of experience in building construction, with a working knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.Must have a thorough understanding of all federal, state, and local regulations and the ability to recognize hazardous situations and recommend corrective measures. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidate must have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
