Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for patients at Empath Health Hospice Houses.
8a-8:30p; Week 1: Thursday/Saturday; Week 2: Sunday/Saturday
Our CNAs have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a valued member of our healthcare team, they play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and improving the overall well-being of our patients. We are committed to supporting our CNAs in their important work and providing them with the resources and recognition they deserve.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the CNA provides personal and basic medical care services within the plan of care for patients within the CNA scope of practice and to enhance patient and family comfort.
The hospice CNA:
Is responsible for overall care of the patient, from basic personal care like bathing and grooming to household tasks that assist the primary caregiver.Educates the patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning and daily living.Requirements:
Applicants must have Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing AssistantCurrent CPR certification requiredOne year of recent experience in hospice, home health or acute-care setting is preferred.
