Overview:
Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), provide bedside care and basic nursing procedures to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Assist nurses or physicians in the operation of medical equipment for patient care. Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention. Provide physical and emotional support to patients. Keep all patient areas neat. Follow health system guidelines and HIPAA to ensure accurate care.
New Graduates welcome to apply!Qualifications:QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED/TASC requiredGraduate of an accredited Nursing Attendant programCurrent NYS LicenseCurrent BCLS/CPR preferredAbility to accurately record patient vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulseBasic computer skillsBilingual is a plusScheduleAll positions are in hospitals and nursing homes. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week.General shift availability:
Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p)Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a)Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.COVID-19 vaccination is required.Most positions include a comprehensive Union benefits package and competitive salaries.Salary: $18.30 - $29.51 per hour
