As a member of the Data Management team, you will own features around different aspects of customers' data including planning and instrumentation, discoverability and usage, clean up, enrichment, monitoring, and privacy/access. Amplitude does this by providing an expansive set of data tools, providing timely recommendations for keeping data clean using our

AI Data Assistant , and automating these data governance jobs for customers.The team is fast moving and you will be expected to iterate quickly and own, drive and achieve alignment on a variety of projects ranging from new product features to best practices and scalability of our codebase & infrastructure.As a Senior Engineer, you will:Drive business impact through owning end-to-end delivery of projectsOperate with a focus on rapid but sustainable delivery through proper sequencing and experimentationAdvocate for the right priorities and communicate effectively with engineering leadershipContribute to definition of SLAs and upholding operational excellence for applications and services that power the data management experienceContribute to the technical direction of the team, product, and systemsGet involved in performance optimization and scaling effortsWork with Product Management and Design to generate and turn novel ideas for solving customer problems into engineering solutionsDrive engineering discussions and engineering best practicesMentor and contribute to the success of other engineers on the teamYou'll be a great addition to the team if you:4+ years of experience developing interactive, user-facing applications and websitesStrong frontend experience with React and Typescript/JavascriptStrong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with attention to detailCan synthesize customer input and architectural knowledge to create outsized engineering impactExcellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing requirementsConstant desire to learn and grow in the field of web developmentHave experience with defining, managing and scaling AWS solutions via infrastructure as code toolsHave familiarity with the following: (Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, Python)Have interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering teamWe care about the well-being of our team:

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $170,000 - $256,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $154,000 - $231,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
