Wide range of experience the client is willing to consider. Book of business consists of a blend of traditional corporate plans and a heavy focus on small plan cash balance plans. Need an actuary who can run a book of business. Small plan experience would be a plus, but open to teaching someone the nuances of that space. ProVal experience also a plus, but client willing to train. Open to anyone with solid overall experience in the 8-20 year range. Must be able to service a book which includes the day to day work as well as functioning as the client facing lead consultant. Must be willing to get in and run valuations and stay technically proficient while also having the ability to move into a lead client consultant role.Ideal candidate would:

Be at least an EAHave experience with running clients/client teamsChicago area based preferred, but also open to fully remotePreference for some experience with small/cash balance plans as well as nondiscrimination testing, but certainly not requiredOpen to a large plan actuary who would like to learn the small plan sideBasically looking for someone who wants to have a career running a bunch of clients with a continuing growing group, and someone that doesn't have to be coddled to get up to speedWork will include single employer private sector, public sector and OPEB clients. Clients range in size from 1-8000 participants.
