Position Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts within the metals industry. This role involves identifying customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and building long-term relationships to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the metals market.

Responsibilities:

Focus on Sales and Business Development by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to achieve sales targets.

Present and demonstrate the company’s products and services to potential clients.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.

Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure ongoing service quality and address any issues or concerns.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and tactics.

Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and customer needs.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the metals industry or a related field.

Strong understanding of metals and alloys, including their applications and market dynamics.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Customer-focused with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
