Job Description - Open Rank Professor, Pulmonology, Allergy, Immunology, and Sleep Medicine - Memphis (22000002S0)This position is a full-time, non-tenure track academic faculty position (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank). Academic rank at the time of appointment shall be commensurate with experience and credentials. Includes supervision of trainees such as fellows, residents and medical students. May include supervision of APNs. Primary responsibility is for clinical care. Successful candidate will also participate in education, research and program development.Qualifications
Requires an MD or equivalent degree, and board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology/Pediatric Sleep Medicine. Must be able to obtain a State of Tennessee medical license. Interest in sleep, technology-dependent populations, asthma, BPD or pulmonary complications of cancer and skill in pediatric flexible bronchoscopy or infant PFTs are desirable.Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.Job
