(must start role in 2024)We are a fully equipped 3-doctor practice in beautiful Redding, California. Located along the I-5, Redding is the last major city on the way to Oregon. Westside is a small animal practice and boarding facility. We provide primary medical and surgical care as well as select orthopedic procedures, chemotherapy, and dentistry.

Along with traditional medicine, we would be open to utilizing holistic and alternative medicine as part of our treatment regime.

This individual advances the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients.Job ResponsibilitiesBuilds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concernsPerforms physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfortCommunicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive healthcare, and nutritional needs.Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocolsStays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicineAssists in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client servicePresents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public
