Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Enterprise Applications on AWS team as a Business Development Specialist!The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, where you will lead the global GTM plan for SAP on AWS for Healthcare & Lifesciences. You are a leader for specialists, architects, partners, and account teams around the world and set direction and standards for how we solve customer problems in your domain. You partner with technical and business teams across AWS and bring the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap.In this role, you are an expert in Healthcare & Lifesciences industries in conjunction with expertise in industry specific processes enabled by SAP including strong familiarity in how customers implement SAP for these specific industries, and the typical gaps/innovation use cases for which customers seek help outside of their SAP applications using ISV solutions, bolt-ons, custom code or cloud-native services from hyperscalers (AWS experience preferred).You will work closely with AWS industry teams to tailor industry content for SAP customers, align with SAP's industry teams to introduce complementary GTM offerings, provide thought leadership, and help build assets, solutions and accelerators which will be used by AWS field and SAP specialists to engage and help customers.AWS and SAP have been collaborating since SAP became a customer in 2008. Together, we have certified AWS to support most SAP solutions, brought purpose built EC2 instances to market to support SAP customer needs, and helped SAP leverage AWS services to power a number of their SaaS and PaaS offerings like Concur, SuccessFactors (for government agencies), HANA Cloud Platform, Signavio and SAP Analytics Cloud.Key job responsibilities

Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain.Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of SAP business development, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience.10+ years working with customers in helping them with technology decisions, preferably in cloud, hosted and managed services in technology industry.7+ years’ experience in Healthcare and Lifesciences industries.Recent experience in working with cloud-native and containerized workloads.Knowledge of business processes enabled by SAP and/or other applications and experience in implementing solutions or selling solutions with ERP.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with AWS services and how they can be used to modernize SAP.Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
