DSP Software Design Engineer

If you want to be an impact player, learn and work with other extremely talented engineers, this should be an outstanding opportunity for you.Position Summary and ResponsibilitiesCreate, develop and implement algorithms and data structures within sophisticated embedded products to improve signal fidelity; provide solutions for industries such as serial data communications, signal integrity, and communications.Learn in-depth product functionality and design levels.Work in a team environment to debug, diagnose and fix various software issues reported by customers; develop software applications/features for different products.Publish and patent research results.Products are built on sophisticated object-oriented software programming techniques utilizing technologies such as ActiveX, WTL/ATL/COM, GDI toolset, DirectX, WDK, WDF. C++ is the primary programming language.QualificationsMust be skilled in 2 of 3:
C++ programmingElectronics, linear systems, and DSPApplied Math
BSEE or equivalent; MSEE a plus.Working experience of C++ programming and Python.Demonstrable knowledge of linear systems theory, DSP, and transforms (Fourier, Laplace, z).Strong applied math skills – specifically linear algebra and numerical analysis.Knowledge of digital and analog hardware electronics.Passion for quality and be a proactive thinker.Ability to work in a team environment.
