Mission Integration Specialist

to join our Cyber and Intel Division’s Mission Integration and Special Technologies team. In this role you will apply special technology solutions to real world problems.This team is responsible for supporting capability development, managing our customer’s expectations, and performing specialized capability training for our customer base. Our team, located in Chantilly, Virginia, builds specialized mission capabilities and depend upon our Mission Integration Specialist to ensure our solutions exceed evolving mission needs. This is a critical role that contributes to our customer capabilities, our company solutions, and our mission-first culture.Job Description:The Mission Integration Specialist is responsible for overseeing many aspects of customer coordination and execution of critical customer support, training, deliveries, and mission solutioning. This role helps to bridge the product team with the customer end-users and maintains the high level of support and shaping the future of the capabilities we deliver.Specific experience and expertise in the customer mission, practices, technologies, security, and organizations are necessary for this role. The Mission Integration Specialist will work closely with our product team of cyber security engineers, hardware/software developers, infrastructure specialists, and other operational technologists.The Mission Integration Specialist will also support the testing of our solutions through QA/QC processes, evaluating technologies, supporting integration with other technologies, and working with customers to support their test and evaluation efforts for approvals of our solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an exciting mission-focused team delivering unique and critical capabilities to our discriminating customer base.Responsibilities:Support customer hardware and software issues, including after hours on-call supportSupport development staff with real-world testing support and feedback on product pre-release candidates to ensure solution is mission deployableDesign, conduct, and maintain a detailed customer training curriculum of our technical solutions for successful integration into missionManage customer deliveries – Ordering, kitting, tracking, configuring, and shippingCultivate constructive feedback from end-users, product managers, and other stakeholders to continuously improve training, product integration, and solution impactInvestigate and deliver feedback to product/solution team on system performance, issues, and customer experienceDocument requirements, track actions, and manage expectationsIdentify and shape growth opportunities through discussions, presentations, and written documentsWrite technical guidance documents and technical memorandumsMonitor commercial and industry trends, news, and updates that can impact our products, solutions, and technologiesProactively communicate with team members, management, and other stakeholdersMaintain a holistic security mindsetRepresent BlueHalo values while enabling and improving our customers’ mission capabilitiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, 10+ years of U.S. military experience, or equivalent experience and knowledgeMinimum five (5) years of experience working within the SOF EnterpriseFamiliarity with SOCOM’s technology solutions and methodologiesWorking knowledge in technical operations, computer network operations, technology deployments into high threat environments, secure communication practices, and/or digital forensicsFrequent domestic travel with limited international travelAbility and strong motivation to learn new tools, techniques, and methodologiesWillingness to support end-users to include after hours on-call supportA security-minded approach to all engineering and administration effortsOutstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and comfortable speaking to groupsAbility to understand and translate complex technology, cyber, and communications concepts to mission impactExcellent organizational, time-management, and technical documentation skillsDetail-oriented and critical thinking mindsetMust have a passion for training others and the ability to make training interesting, relevant, and inspiringExperience and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Clearance:Current TOP SECRET clearance, with the ability to upgrade to customer-specific clearance requirementsIf you only have a SECRET clearance, and you are open to upgrading this to a TOP SECRET clearance, you should still apply.Preferred Qualifications:Experience testing software and hardware capabilitiesExperience in designing technical course contentExperience or familiarity of modern training techniquesAbility to manage all phases of a project to include product research, technology selection, planning, budgeting, executing, tracking, testing, and writing high quality documentation
