The ideal candidate will possess outstanding analytical and evaluative skills, with a preference for experience in Tennessee Criminal Law.Duties:Represent clients in criminal defense cases, ensuring robust advocacy and strategic legal representation.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build effective defense strategies.Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.Communicate with clients to provide updates, legal advice, and case strategies.Negotiate settlements and plea deals when appropriate.Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.Collaborate with other legal professionals, including investigators and expert witnesses.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Stay current with developments in criminal law and legal precedents.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.Experience in criminal defense law (preferred but not required).Demonstrated expertise in Tennessee Criminal Law is preferred.Strong understanding of criminal legal procedures and courtroom practices.Certifications:Must hold a valid license to practice law in Tennessee.Skills:Outstanding analytical and evaluative abilities.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively and efficiently.Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.High level of integrity and professionalism.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
