Entirely Remote Work From Anywhere Role!We are seeking an experienced AI/ML/Software Cloud Solution Architect to join our AI Services and Platforms team and drive the development of innovative AI (generative and predictive) based solutions for our enterprise stakeholders. As a member of the AI Platforms and Services team, you will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand their technical and business problems and integrate AI services into new products or existing systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of AI/ML principles, cloud computing, and software development best practices, combined with the ability to translate those into practical, scalable, and production-ready solutions. You will design and develop scalable, robust, and efficient architectures for AI enabled software solutions that address specific business challenges.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESLead to provide strategic consultation to business customers in defining or designing business processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing enabling technologies based on customer capability requirements.Facilitate development of the most complex enterprise business solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.Lead and participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.Specify and design large or the most complex systems, solutions, networks, infrastructure elements, or processes.Lead reviews of others’ system design to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology.Establish policy for selection of architecture components.Ensure that the system architecture balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements.Use appropriate tools, including models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of the most complex architectures.Produce detailed component requirements, specifications and translates these into detailed solutions/designs for implementation using selected products.Provide advice on technical aspects of system development, integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and processes.Lead the resolution of a variety of architecture and business problems and serve as a technical or business lead for highly complex project initiatives.EDUCATIONRequiredBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or closely related fieldPreferredMaster's DegreeEXPERIENCERequired7 years in an IT discipline7 years in a Business disciplinePreferred4+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, and solution development.3+ years of experience designing and implementing AI/ML or software solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.Experience integrating workstreams to achieve results across Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, DevSecOps, and security and privacy.Experience or knowledge in building applications that leverage LLMs as a service, like Vertex AI LLM APIs (PaLM, Gemini), Azure OpenAI API, Amazon Bedrock.Ability to stay abreast of the latest research in the field and identify new opportunities for innovation, experiment with new approaches and contribute to the development of novel applications of Generative AI.Familiarity with LLM orchestration tools like LangChain, llamaindex, vector databases for developing RAG based applications.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.Ability to think creatively and collaborate to apply AI to solve business problems with multiple capabilities.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONSRequiredNonePreferredCloud Service Provider Solution Architect Certification, including AWS Solution Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification or GCP Solutions Architect Expert CertificationWORK ENVIRONMENTIs Travel Required?
