IT Service Desk Manager - ITIL

Local candidates to PA, DE or MD will only be consideredOur client located in Wilmington, DE is seeking an IT Service Desk Manager to work in a hybrid role. This position will oversee the IT Service Desk operations and act as subject matter expert to provide guidance on information technology functions and operations.Responsibilities

Provides management oversight related to the Service Desk functionManages, supervises, mentors and trains assigned staffInvested in staff development and empowering teams to do their best workDesign, implementation, and management of local area and wide area network, server, desktop and network administration, and networking devices such as laptops, Android, Blackberry and iPhonesDiagnostic utilities used in a multi-platform environmentPrinciples and practices of program and project managementTrain, mentor, supervise and evaluate the work of staff and motivate staff to achieve their goals and objectivesDevelop work plans and workflows and organize and prioritize staff’s workDemonstrate strong teamwork and team building skillsFacilitate and lead meetings and projectsManage multiple projects simultaneously, organize work, and achieve goals and timelinesFoster effective and collaborative working relationships, influence others, and build consensus with individuals at all levels in the organizationAttendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expectedQualifications

A seasoned Service Desk leader who practices and promotes exemplary customer serviceITIL CertifiedExperienced in creating and managing KPI's, metrics and reportingDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, aligning them with department or company objectives for optimal efficiency and successA strong collaborator, with an ability to see the bigger picture and work toward the best solutions for all partiesNetwork, PC, desktop, server, and database technologyITIL best practicesAt least an Associates degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related fieldThis is a hybrid role, requiring you to be onsite 3 days a week.
