You will lead our finance function, overseeing P&L management, financial integrity, and sustainable growth initiatives. This role requires a finance leader with deep financial acumen, strategic vision, and a collaborative approach to ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:

Serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, contributing to overall business strategy and operational decision-making. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term organizational goals.

Team Leadership:

Build and mentor a high-performance finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Financial Performance:

Establish and communicate a clear vision for financial performance. Lead efforts in financial forecasting, planning, and analysis. Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize investments that drive both short-term results and long-term growth.

Process Optimization:

Implement scalable systems and processes to ensure robust financial controls and facilitate business scalability. Utilize data analytics to enhance operational efficiencies and challenge existing processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and other functional leaders to optimize business performance and ensure sustainable profitability. Participate in negotiations for sales contracts and support merger and acquisition activities.

Compliance and Governance:

Ensure adherence to US GAAP and IFRS standards. Maintain rigorous financial discipline and integrity across all financial operations.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred7+ years of progressive finance and/or accounting experienceProven track record of building effective relationships, driving growth strategies, and delivering measurable resultsExpertise in financial modeling and project ROI analysis using advanced Excel skillsStrong understanding of general accounting principles and effective financial processesExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasivelyEntrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation, change management, and operational excellenceAlignment with Barry-Wehmiller cultural commitments and valuesPreferred Qualifications:Progressive finance and/or accounting experience in the manufacturing or insurance industryCPA, CMA, or CFA certification(s)Experience supporting M&A activity through due diligence and integrationThis role offers a unique opportunity to lead the finance function of a dynamic organization, driving financial strategy and operational excellence in support of our growth objectives.
