Description
RESPONSIBILITIESOversees the running of the project in a safety capacity: ensuring we are following safe procedures and keeping everyone out of harm’s way.Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across the project, functions, and locations (areas and segments).Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems, and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.Ensure the project follows safety specifications mandated by contract, state, and federal agencies.Ensure a safe work environment for all employees.Effectively develop and apply the core skills to the job.Assist or provide safety training for individuals on site.Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 7 years EHS work experience, with 5 years in a similar industry.Must have Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) and/or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST).24 hours of formal safety training in the past 5 years.Must have a valid driver’s license.Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.Ability to interact professionally with employees and clients of various levels.Strong organizational skills.Understanding of OSHA regulations.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Education
Required : Bachelors or better.Licenses & Certifications
