You will love working with incredible marketers and strategists across the company.About the Role:This role works closely with the other senior data scientists on the team to enhance our products, develop new tools, and create actionable recommendations. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams in an omnichannel marketing organization and be exposed to various technology stacks (MarTech, AdTech, FinTech, etc.). The day-to-day work will include data modeling, developing machine learning/AI algorithms, data mining, analysis and presentation of your work to the team(s). This role requires an individual to have a healthy amount of intellectual curiosity, creativity, and an innovative mindset.You're excited about this opportunity because you will...Take ownership of data models, datasets, manage data integrity, preparation, cleansing, and final delivery of your work for senior leadershipOwn data quality assurance and management protocols/processesDevelop ML/AI applications, maintain dashboards, documentation, and reportingStay updated with current ML/AI trends to improve and advance existing processes with more automationSupport production models and enrich existing ML/AI framework to improve performance accuracy and reduce costs of ML/AI systemsTest, learn, and run machine learning/AI experiments comparing different techniques and algorithmsScale and automate analyses for marketing across 8 brandsSupport adhoc and recurring requests for multiple cross-functional teamsWe're excited about you because you have...Bachelors' Degree or higher education in Applied ML/AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Analytics, Economics, or related technical fieldExcel, SQL, R, Python Required; Other programming/scripting languages a plus3+ years of professional experience or equivalent academic course work in Machine Learning/AI, statistical modeling, data analytics, market research, or other data centric roleUnderstanding, knowledge, and experience or equivalent academic work in Long Short Term Memory with Attention (LSTM-a), Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithms, Deep Learning Neural Network, Prophet/NeuralProphet, Regression (Bayesian, SARIMA, ARIMA), A/B testing, and other methodologies or algorithmsProficient using Databricks, TensorFlow, Keras, Jupyter Notebook, Ubuntu and/or other data science toolsExperience with Marketing Mix Modeling and/or Multi-Touch Attribution a huge plusStrong analytical and critical thinking skills are a mustStrong attention to details and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to clearly communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiencesAbout Williams-Sonoma, Inc.:Founded in 1956, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is the premier specialty retailer of high-quality products for the kitchen and home in the United States. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
