Central City Concern is on the search for a Medical Director of Primary Care at their Old Town Clinic in Portland, Oregon. This role leads and mentors the organization’s primary care clinical staff and sets strategic direction in partnership with the Senior Director of Primary Care Operations and Clinics, the Chief Medical Officer, the Vice President-Chief of Health Services, and the Office of Integration and Innovation.An ideal candidate would be an experienced Physician with a track record of building successful teams and strong community partnerships. A leader who can keep their programs and employees accountable, gain team buy-in, and deliver world-class care to our patients.The Medical Director of Primary Care holds accountability in partnership with the Senior Director of Primary Care Operations and Clinics for the delivery of all primary care services provided at Central City Concern.Job Details:Full-time Monday - Friday 8-5Minimum Requirements:License to practice medicine as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in Oregon.Minimum four (4) years experience in providing care as a medical provider for underserved individuals in a community clinic setting.Minimum two (2) years experience in established leadership capacity within a healthcare setting.Must have full prescriptive powers in Oregon with a DEA number.Preferred Qualifications:Addictions medicine certification.Spanish language proficiency or willingness to develop these skills.Benefits:Generous paid time off plan beginning at 4 weeks per year at the time of hire, with accrual increases over time.Amazing 403(b) Retirement Savings plan with an employer match of 4.25% in your 1st year, 6% in the 2nd year, and 8% in the 3rd year.11 paid Holidays PLUS 2 Personal Holidays to be used at the employee’s discretion.Comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance coverage.Employer Paid Life, Short Term Disability, AND Long-Term Disability Insurance.Sabbatical Program offering extended time off at years 7, 14, and 21.Where You’ll Work:Central City Concern’s Old Town Clinic offers quality health care to all on a sliding fee scale in the heart of Portland, Oregon’s Chinatown neighborhood.
