Job Description:
The Daycare Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our daycare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for the children in our care. This role involves leading a team of educators and support staff, developing and implementing educational programs, and working closely with families to support their children’s growth and development from a faith-based perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Supervise and support a team of teachers and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Program Development:
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that align with our faith-based values and curriculum standards.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the daycare center meets all licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and maintains a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Family Engagement:
Foster strong relationships with families, addressing their concerns, and involving them in their children’s learning and development.
Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure the efficient operation of the daycare center.
Community Outreach:
Represent the daycare center in community activities and build relationships with local organizations and churches to support the center’s mission.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and faith-based education principles.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and community members.
Commitment to upholding and integrating the values and teachings of our faith into all aspects of the daycare center’s operations.
